Engineering support
where software meets systems.

Focused contract work for technical teams that need a useful result, clear communication, and an implementation that can be maintained.

01 / Software

Custom software

Purpose-built applications and tools shaped around a real operational need—not unnecessary features.

  • Internal tools and desktop applications
  • System integrations and APIs
  • Data processing and technical utilities
02 / Automation

Software automation

Reliable software that replaces repetitive work, connects existing processes, or gives teams better control over technical systems.

  • Workflow and process automation
  • Test and equipment control software
  • Monitoring, logging, and reporting
03 / Embedded

Embedded systems

Software and integration work for devices that sense, communicate, control hardware, or operate at the edge.

  • Microcontroller programming
  • Sensor and peripheral integration
  • Device communication and control

Useful across the full technical stack.

01

Instrumentation & data acquisition

Connecting sensors and test equipment to software for measurement, logging, and analysis.

02

Hardware–software integration

Bringing devices, interfaces, communications, and applications together into one working system.

03

Prototyping & technical validation

Building focused prototypes to evaluate feasibility and reduce uncertainty before larger commitments.

04

Existing-system improvement

Diagnosing brittle workflows or tools and making targeted improvements without rebuilding everything.

Multi-channel power monitoring and test system

Designed and built an eight-sensor electrical monitoring system with four voltage sensors, two 10 A current sensors, two 30 A current sensors, NI CompactDAQ hardware, and NI-9208 input modules. A custom Python application provided live readings, repeatable test execution, and safety controls across a system containing hundreds of wired connections.

OutcomeCondensed testing that would otherwise require weeks of manual work into a software-controlled process.

Phone-controlled mobile robotics platform

Built a mobile robot combining a custom 3D-printed chassis, embedded motor-control firmware, wireless communication, and a mobile control application. The current platform supports end-to-end driving commands from the phone to the onboard controller.

Current statePhone-controlled driving is operational. Reinforcement-learning autonomy is the next planned development stage.

A small technical contractor built for practical problems.

Serosh is a Pennsylvania-based technical contracting company focused on software, automation, and embedded systems. The goal is simple: understand what needs to work, then engineer a dependable way to make it happen.

Engagements can range from a small, well-defined build to scoped technical support within a larger program. Serosh is available for commercial and public-sector opportunities, including subcontract work.

Founder / Donovan Brocious

Hands-on ownership from problem to working system.

Serosh was founded by Donovan Brocious, a Pennsylvania-based software developer and technical builder focused on practical systems that connect software, hardware, and real operational needs.

Donovan brings a driven, ownership-minded approach to technical work: understand the full system, define what success looks like, and carry the solution from early concept to a dependable tool. His experience spans Python automation, embedded C/C++, mobile applications, instrumentation, data acquisition, robotics, and system integration.
